- Things you should know about the G-1 & DA-809G: DVD, CD & Laser Disk players must have a Digital (Optical or Coaxial) output to decode graphics & operate correctly w/the G-1 & DA-809G. All the following units DO NOT have a Digital Shock buffer in line w/the Digital Output. Any unit w/a Digital Buffer will NOT work w/our Decoders. The player also must be able to read CDG subcodes.
