PAC OS1BOSE Complete kit designed for GM Bose

The OS-1Bose(R) is a complete kit designed for GM Bose(R) equipped vehicles. It comes with an OS-1 and an OEM-1 Bose(R) interface. The OS-1Bose(R) will not work with OnStar(R) equipped vehicles that have factory radios with RDS (Class 2 headunits). Factory radio's with RDS can be indendified by locating an RDS logo on the front face of the factory radio. OS-1Bose(R) currently supports trucks and SUV's from 1996-2002. The OS-1 BOSE is a plug and play interface kit that allows replacement of a General Motors factory stereo (without RDS option)and maintain operation of the OnStar(R) system and the Bose(R) amplifier and speakers. The kit includes the OS-1 OnStarinterface and the OEM-1 premium sound system interface and cable . The OS-1 has on board switching, and amplifi cationallow audio from the OnStar(R) system to play through the two front factory speakers when OnStar(R) is active, and mute thenew replacement radio. The OS-1 can also be used when a stereo and amplifi er combination system is installed. Separatespeakers can be added if desired.There are separate gain adjustments for left and right OnStar(R) audio and an LED indicator that turns on when the OS-1 receivesan "ON" command from the OnStar(R) system.Cadillac 1999 - 2000 Escalade, 2002 Escalade. Please note 1998-2003 Grand Prix w/Bose(R) - this interface is not designed for this vehicle,however, you can order the AMP-GM21B (1998-1999 Grand Prix) or AMP-GM21C (2000-2003 Grand Prix) harnessto replace the AMP-GM21A harness to make this interface work correctly.The OS-1 will interface with all GM radios that use the 21 pin / 9 pin connectors. If there is a "RDS logo on the radio face orthe radio uses the 24 pin / 12 pin connectors, this interface will not work.
